The majority of the advisory council of the company is made up of non-family members and has similar functions and powers to the supervisory board of a stock corporation. It supports the management as a valuable advisor and critical companion.
Thomas Wrede, Arnsberg, Master of Industrial Engineering, has been chairman of the board of the WREDE Foundation and chairman of the advisory council of WREDE Industrieholding since 2015. He is married and has three sons and a daughter. From 1985 to 2015, Thomas Wrede was managing partner of Wrede Industrieholding and played a leading role in setting the decisive course for the development of WREDE Group into a global player of German SMEs.
Dr. Martin Heubeck attained a doctorate in 1991 in applied economics supported by a doctoral scholarship grant from Robert Bosch GmbH. He spent the next eleven years in various functions at different locations of the Robert Bosch Group. From 2002 until 2016 Dr. Heubeck worked for Phoenix Contact. As CFO he was responsible for finance, controlling, procurement, legal, tax, M&A and risk management. Since 2017 he is managing partner of (meanwhile) two limited companies investing in German start-ups and providing strategy consulting.
Prof. Dr. Ohle attained a doctorate from the University of Göttingen in the Department of Physics and qualified as a university lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Karlsruhe. He has spent his industrial career of over 20 years in management positions at well-known companies and was actively involved in their successful development. Since 2016 Prof. Dr. Ohle is member of the holding management board of rlc packaging group and responsible for improvement of resource efficiency in the group’s eight plants.
